The N.O.V.A. Principles program was created in March of 2003. This program is taught by uniformed law enforcement officers in Elementary and Jr. High Schools. The Elementary School program is a 13 to 15 week program, where as the Jr. High School program is a 4 week/4 lesson program.
The Mission of N.O.V.A. Principles is: “Nurturing youth to seek out positive Opportunities, internalize good Values, and to accept Accountability for their choices in life. N.O.V.A. Principles assists parents, families, and communities in protecting youth from the potentially devastating effects of illegal drugs, violence, and negative media exposure.
The N.O.V.A. Principles Motto is, “Illuminating the path to excellence”.
Currently, the N.O.V.A Principles program is taught in the following Utah Cities and Counties: Orem Pleasant Grove Lehi American Fork Cedar Hills Payson Salem Logan Vineyard Saratoga Springs Sandy Lindon Cache County Emery County
We give our thanks and appreciation for the support that School Administrators and Teachers of these cities give law enforcement officers to teach this wonderful program to the thousands of students who are participating in it.
