Announcing
The 2nd Annual N.O.V.A. Lagoon Day
Mark your calendars everyone
This years N.O.V.A. Lagoon Day will be on Saturday, April 25, 2009
All 2008 – 2009 school year N.O.V.A. students will have the opportunity to receive a N.O.V.A. Lagoon Day discount ticket from their N.O.V.A. Instructor that will allow them and their family to get into Lagoon at discount pricing. Just like last year, this will be a great day to visit Lagoon, because the summer crowd will not be there and the ride lines are very short!
We hope that you will take advantage of this special opportunity with your family and enjoy a fun filled day at Lagoon with us. Please wear your N.O.V.A. T-Shirt if you have one to show your support for the N.O.V.A. program. We hope to see you there!

At the beginning of this year, the Logan Police Department created a N.O.V.A. Police Car. Local businesses there donated time and materials to make this happen. Officer Denny Bird, a N.O.V.A. Instructor, spearheaded this project and the result is incredible! Great job Denny!

July 24, 2008
During the week of July 7th thru the 11th, 2008, NOVA Principles completed its 7th N.O.V.A. Instructor Certification Seminar held here in Orem, Utah. We had (3) officers from Sandy City, (2) officers from Pleasant Grove, (1) officer from Orem City, (2) officers from Cache County Sheriff’s Office, and a Behavior Specialist teacher from the Alpine School District certify as our newest N.O.V.A. Instructors. Welcome aboard!
We welcome Cache County Sheriff’s Office as the newest Agency to join the N.O.V.A. Principles team. We are excited to have you and know you will enjoy teaching the N.O.V.A. Principles program. In all, we now have N.O.V.A. being taught in (13) Utah cities.
We will surely miss Officer Michael Palmer from Sandy City Police Department, who recently moved to Missouri to join a Police ageny there. With any luck, Missouri may soon be the second State to teach N.O.V.A. I will keep you all posted on this hopeful event. Good luck Michael!
