The N.O.V.A. Principles program was created in March of 2003.  This program is taught by uniformed law enforcement officers in Elementary, Jr. High School, and High Schools.  The Elementary School program is a 13 to 15 week program, the Jr. High School program is a 4 week/4 lesson program, and the High School program is a 2 lesson program.

The Mission of N.O.V.A. Principles is:  “Nurturing youth to seek out positive Opportunities, internalize good Values, and to accept Accountability for their choices in life.  N.O.V.A. Principles assists parents, families, and communities in protecting youth from the potentially devastating effects of illegal drugs, violence, and negative media exposure.

The N.O.V.A. Principles Motto is, “Illuminating the path to excellence”.

Currently, the N.O.V.A Principles program is taught in the following Utah Cities and Counties:          Orem            Pleasant Grove            Lehi            American Fork            Cedar Hills            Payson            Salem            Logan            Vineyard            Saratoga Springs            Sandy             Lindon            Cache County            Emery County         Smithfield         Weber County         Mapleton         Riverdale         Utah County         Alpine           Highland         Pleasant View         Vernal         Nephi          Sevier County          Richfield          Salina          Mona          Ogden          West Haven          Plain City          Grantsville          Juab County          Ute Tribe          Millard County

Currently, the N.O.V.A. Principles program is taught in the following Arizona Cities and Counties:         Lake Havasu City
